Trinity Angle Vale Tennis

ANZ Tennis Hot Shots is based on a “learning-through-play” philosophy, which means that playing the game of tennis is the central feature of each session. Smaller courts, racquets and softer tennis balls makes it possible to develop children’s skills faster, while the Red, Orange and Green stages offer a clear pathway.

Red Ball Hot Shots (5-8 years)

TennisGear offers a variety of Red Hot Shots programs throughout the week. There is no minimum playing standard required to become involved in TennisGear’s Red Ball Hot Shots lessons! We encourage all players to get involved and take part in this awesome game. As player’s progress and improve their games they will start to achieve the playing standards required to move up through the classes and levels right up to our squads.

Orange Ball Hot Shots (8-10 years)

No minimum playing standard required! This is our entry-level class for Orange Hot Shots and is perfect for first-time players or kids who have never or  played a small amount of tennis. Players will work on developing all of the fundamental skills of tennis including rallying, serving, coming to the net and scoring and competing. By week 8 of the term players will take part in our rally awards day which will measure their progress in the following areas: Rally, Serve, Come to the Net, Score and Compete. This will give them the opportunity to progress into the next level of Orange Ball classes.

After mastering the Orange Hot Shots stage, children move on to the Green stage where the ball bounces a little higher (75 per cent compression) and the court is a bit bigger.

Private Lessons

Private tennis lessons are perfect for players that want individual attention and accelerated learning.    A one on one coaching scenario allows the player to concentrate solely on their own goals and needs.  Private lessons allow the coach to isolate technique and concentrate on stroke development.

Private lessons are available in either half hour, forty-five minute or one hour session times.  These lessons can be either a personal session or shared by family members or friends.  Private lessons are very useful for technical development and are considered necessary to master the more challenging strokes.

Programs can be tailored to suit the individual requirements of the student and can be booked in with any of our experienced tennis professionals on staff.
